The benefit of the program is for our volunteers to continue using their experience and expertise four days a week to help the students broaden their horizons. Being a volunteer is “a perfect fit for a parent, retired person or former classroom teacher.” Our volunteers go above and beyond what school can provide to teach our children to be their very best. Our goal is to help our kids to become better students, community members, and overall citizens. This fits perfectly with the Cupboard’s mission of “Neighbors Helping Neighbors.”
